where J stands for the body’s moment of inertia in relation to rotation axis, and ω for the angular velocity of the spinning body.

As angular velocity is directly proportional to frequency ({displaystyle omega =2pi f}), the following formula also applies:

where f stands for rotation frequency in rounds per second.
