LASVIT Brings Bohemian Flare to Dubai’s Downtown Design Trade Fair which is back for its 9th installment, lighting up the d3 Waterfront area with the best from the world of contemporary design.
The LASVIT booth will present their classic collection Cipher done differently: the classic work designed in tandem with the Canadian designer duo Yabu-Pushelberg will glow in wholly new constellations, always made to fit. LASVIT will also present The Spacey Table Lamp – a homely version of designer Lukáš Novák’s Spacey. Lukáš is an up-and-coming star of Czech design who was born in the traditional hub of the Czech glass craft and also the main seat of LASVIT, the northern Bohemian town of Nový Bor. For this work, he adapted the traditional lithyalin technique and updated it for the tastes of the 21st century space age. Both Cipher and Spacey Table Lamp, bringing the best of contemporary Bohemian design into the living rooms and bedrooms of a design-conscious clientele.
New Spacial Solutions
LASVIT will also present its kinetic installation A:Live – a truly modular installation which blows everyone away with its life-like movement and emergent design. A:Live was created by architect Stefan Mihailovic, and presents a dynamic new look at art of interior design – this kinetic sculpture is available for private residencies, yachts, or any place of hospitality and its dynamic design is sure to lift everyone off their feet.
“We are very excited that we have been invited to exhibit some of LASVIT’s most cutting-edge work at Dubai’s Downtown Design convention. This is the first time we will present A:Live and the Spacey Table Lamp in the UAE, and we are confident that the trade fair visitors will appreciate LASVIT’s bold approach and Bohemian flare,” says Lukáš Černý, LASVIT’s General Manager for MEA & SE Asia. “Our new products are perfect for residences, and our Icons series, such as Herbarium or Dancing Leaves, are also the perfect choice for private spaces. Icons allow you to have a glass garden bloom in the middle of your living room, or have leaves dancing on the wind above your dining table, and so much more,” adds Černý
