Two of our bestselling design lightings entered the new year with additions to the families. The Crystal rock pendants got a raw look of real mineral. A different finish of Arik Levy’s design totally “rocks” the raw look. Neverending Glory Large and Small have another “size sister”. Neverending Glory Medium is for every opera lover, who doesn´t want anything too big or too small.
Following the success of his Crystal Rock pendant lights and vases, Arik Levy has now extended this versatile design line with the Crystal Rock Raw. This offspring of the previous projects offers a closer fit with the raw and natural look of a real mineral.
The final outcome has a crude surface and captures the rough beauty of glass, while still retaining the delicate look of a shooting star and the cosmic beauty of crude surface.
Neverending Glory Goes Medium
The design of Neverending Glory was created in 2013, and since then the lighting has become one of the most beloved of LASVIT´s design lightings. The small version was firstly showcased in 2018 during the Maison et Objet fair in Paris. This year, LASVIT is launching another size series – one which is halfway between the small and the large one. For many customers, this one is just right.
The Czech designers Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus designed the Neverending Glory chandeliers as an update of beautiful old classical chandeliers to a contemporary form. The designers sketched the shape of the chandeliers by rotating their silhouette around their own axis.
In the individual silhouettes, it is possible to recognize iconic chandeliers from La Scala in Milan, Palais Garnier in Paris, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Czech Republic’s Estates Theater in Prague, and also the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
