Bird of Paradise in Light
Suspended in the reception of Casamia’s flagship showroom, a luminous bird hovers with quiet majesty, alive, radiant, and full of motion. Inspired by the Strelitzia plant, a symbol of transformation, joy, and creativity, the bespoke installation was crafted exclusively for Casamia by Lasvit. It reimagines the Bird of Paradise, Casamia’s symbol of creativity, beauty, and expression, as a sculpture of glass and light.
Sculpted Flight
The handmade work has been born from a fusion of traditions. Each petal and curve has been shaped in a dialogue between Italian artistry and Bohemian crystal, immersing the reception with the atmosphere of a lush and luminous jungle. Glass bends, twists, and opens like wings, catching the light in fleeting rhythms. The result is a composition where material and movement intertwine, turning craft into a living performance.
A Living Emblem
The glass petals shift with the light, changing character from day to night. Hovering above the reception, the Bird of Paradise shapes the atmosphere, reflecting Casamia as a place where design becomes dialogue and global craftsmanship finds a home in Dubai. Suspended in radiance, it endures as a living emblem of the belief that design is most powerful when it connects, inspires, and transcends function.
