The Building
The Y-shaped hotel is gleaming with bright gold tones against the sky which stands for abundance and the sunset hues surrounding Manila Bay.
Design story
Designer Štěpán Gudev wanted to capture the wild beauty of nature in elegant shapes with mathematical precision.
The Inspiration
Glass waterfalls are filling the VIP entrance with exceptional beauty overflowing with abundance throughout the hall. „Water is a precious matter and I thought about the installation as waterfalls pouring with wealth, happiness and perhaps with some luck and good fortune for the visitors,“ says the young Czech designer.
Installation
The Okada project is quite complex, so the installation had to be divided into several phases. It started off with the chandeliers for the hotel entrance.
Overall feeling
Once you set foot in the Okada Manila - the place of wonders - the atmosphere will impress you. You were a different person before you stepped inside. Aren´t you feeling “curiouser and curiouser” already?
