Two Ways to See the Light

Two Ways to See the Light

In the heart of Changsha, Lasvit illuminated Park Hyatt Hotel with two glass lighting installations designed by Ivana Zuskinová. Inspiration woven into glass brings an interplay between nature and humanity, between excitement and calm, between fleeting moments and continuous flow.

A Celebration Suspended in Glass

Inspired by the fireworks that light up Changsha’s skies during festivals, "Fireworks" lighting installation celebrates energy and tradition. Dozens upon dozens of clear borosilicate glass rods radiate outward from a central point, forming a suspended explosion above the hotel lobby.

Flowing Light Composition

"Infinity" is a visual continuation of the lobby lighting installation, shifting into a more meditative rhythm. Suspended in the lounge, hand-shaped glass leaves spiral softly through the air. Some are crystal clear, others hold fine air bubbles — scattering light in a way that softens and deepens the atmosphere.

Harmony of Glass and Architecture

Together, the installations form a visual conversation of bespoke lighting, balancing intensity and softness, structure and flow. Their presence complements the interiors by Conran and Partners, bringing together expressive form, natural textures, and a sense of quiet sophistication.
