Set within a restored 18th-century royal residence overlooking Morocco's Atlantic coast, Four Seasons Hotel Rabat exemplifies heritage and contemporary comfort. Lasvit created custom-made lighting installations that reflect the site's history through handblown glass artistry.
In the atrium lobby, a transparent glass installation follows the curvature of the skylight above. Formed from minimalist handblown glass rods, this bespoke lighting piece interacts with daylight rather than dominating it, offering weightlessness and calm that shifts when the sun moves through this timeless glass design.
In one of the hotel's key function spaces, Lasvit created Clouds, a suspended lighting installation inspired by the Rabat coastline. Semi-translucent glass elements paired with a mirrored ceiling evoke sun and vapor above the Atlantic, turning the ceiling into a horizon.
Along a grand staircase, an anamorphic sculpture combines geometric metal frames with organic handblown glass forms. Its pattern comes into focus only from specific angles, inviting movement. The structured framework creates beautiful contrast with the flowing glass elements within.
